Sauerbraten Tacos:

Ingredients:
– 1 pound beef roast (such as chuck or bottom round)

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the red wine vinegar, beef broth, chopped onion, minced garlic, vegetable oil, brown sugar, mustard seeds, pickling spice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

2. Place the beef roast in a deep dish or container and pour the marinade over it, ensuring that the meat is fully covered. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 8 hours.

3. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).

4. Remove the beef from the marinade and pat it dry with paper towels. Reserve the marinade.

5. Heat a large oven-safe skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add a little oil and sear the beef on all sides until browned.

6. Pour the reserved marinade over the beef and cover the skillet with a lid or aluminum foil.

7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for about 2 to 3 hours, or until the beef is tender and easily falls apart.

8. Once the beef is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Shred the meat using two forks.

9. Warm the flour tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.

10. To assemble the Sauerbraten Tacos, place a generous amount of shredded beef on each tortilla. Top with sauerkraut and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Tequila Berliner:

Ingredients:
– 2 ounces tequila
– 1 ounce elderflower liqueur
– 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
– 1/2 ounce simple syrup
– Club soda, to top
– Lime wedges, for garnish

Instructions:

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

2. Add tequila, elderflower liqueur, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.

3. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to combine the ingredients.

4. Strain the cocktail into a glass filled with ice.

5. Top with club soda and gently stir.

6. Garnish with a lime wedge.
