Feasts that expand our waistline size.
Uncles shouting ’bout the game,
Kids creating chaos, who’s to blame.
Phones in hand, heads all bowed,
Football blares, the TV’s too loud,
Tensions rise like the gravy’s foam,
Drinking to forget, but not at home.
Aunties clashing, oh what a sight,
Thanksgiving bliss, such pure delight!
So much food, we can’t resist,
Thanksgiving’s joy, a yearly twist.
